Maintenance Payment Information

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, Unit Owners have six (6) ways to effect payment of their monthly maintenance assessments.

1. Mail your personal check directly to our Bank Lock Box:

This address is for PAYMENTS ONLY.  Any other correspondence sent to this address will not reach us and is at risk of being destroyed or returned to you

2. Have your bank’s “Bill Pay” check sent to the Lock Box address above on either a one-time or automated continuing monthly basis.

3. If you are presently a Chase customer, you may make direct online electronic payments (instead of paper checks) thru the Chase Bill Pay function. Again, this may be on either a one-time or automated continuing basis.  We are a registered recipient in Chase’s Bill Pay system. 

4. You may set up an automatic recurring monthly debit of your non-Chase bank account by Chase Bank on our behalf. To effect this, please e-mail us at the sheridanoc104@gmail.com e-mail address with your request, along with a VOID copy of a check on the account you wish to use.  Initial setup could take up to 14 days.

5. You may use the “Zelle” online payment function available with most U.S. bank and credit union accounts (U.S. ONLY) and also as a mobile app.  Zelle is probably best suited for one-time (or infrequent) payment situations and has some limitations.  We are accepting it on a “trial” basis.

6. We are now able to accept wire transfers. This is probably best suited to those Owners who pay large amounts on an infrequent advance basis, or from non-U.S. financial institutions.  If you wish to pay by wire transfer, kindly contact us by email and we will furnish you with account and routing/transit details.

Kindly remember that ANY remittance, by ANY means, must:

  • Be payable to Sheridan Ocean Club Condominium #1
  • Payable in U.S. Dollars
  • Clearly indicate your Building # and Unit # (for example: #3-104)

Remittances without this information may be delayed or possibly even returned to you.  In such cases, you will be responsible for any resulting late fees and/or bank charges.    

We regret that, due to cost-vs-volume and other constraints, we are unable to accommodate credit/debit card payments.

Any inquiries/questions should be directed to the Association, (not Chase) at the above listed e-mail.

Flood Insurance Information

If you are contacted by your mortgage lender about proof of insurance, go online or by phone:

Online:

  1. Go to EOIdirect.com
  2. Login or register if you do not have an account
  3. Click on “Evidence of Insurance: Order a certificate of insurance “
  4. If asked for the association name, enter “Sheridan Ocean Club”, select Florida as the State, and click on Continue
  5. Select “Sheridan Ocean Club #1 Condo Assn., Inc.”, and click on Continue
  6. Select “I received a letter from my lender requesting an annual update of my insurance policy. (Your lender may indicate they will be purchasing, or have purchased, insurance on your behalf)”, and click on Continue
  7. Enter your Last Name and Loan number, then click on Continue
  8. Enter Lender information, then click on Continue
  9. Review the information, if correct click on Continue
  10. Select Delivery method and click on Continue.
  11. You are done!

Garbage Disposal – Bulky Items

NO BULK ITEMS ARE ALLOWED in trash rooms. If it doesn’t fit in the container you must dispose of these materials yourself. This includes rugs and doors. Electronics must be recycled.

We are required to pay a substantial fee to have these items removed. You will then be responsible for all costs.

Contractor Information – Construction/Remodeling

If you intend to have any work done in your condo, the board requires that notification be given before work starts. Insurance certificates for contractors must be on file with condo association.

Pool Rules

  • Shower before entering
  • No glass container or animals in the fenced pool area (or 50 feet from unfenced pool)
  • No food or beverage in pool or on pool deck
  • Do not swallow the pool water
  • Maximum water temp. is 104 °F
  • Pool Hours: DAYLIGHT HOURS ONLY
  • Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult
  • No one is allowed to swim alone
  • No life guard is on duty
  • No running allowed
  • Boisterous play is not allowed
  • Swimming during inclement weather is not allowed
  • No swimming outside of posted pool hours
  • No diving

Doggie Park Rules

  • This area is for use of S.O.C. Condominium Owners and their tenants and invitees ONLY. Unauthorized users will be removed and/or prosecuted.
  • Use at your risk. S.O.C. Association assumes no liability whatever.
  • YOU are liable for your own activity and that of your pet.
  • The area is unlighted. Govern yourself accordingly.
  • Pets must be supervised at all times and have a current rabies tag. Unsupervised or untagged pets will be turned over to Broward County Animal Control authorities.
  • Aggressive pets may be barred from using the area.
  • Pick up after your pet, or it will be barred from using the area.
  • No glass containers of any kind are allowed in the pet area.
  • No food is allowed in the pet area.
  • Please keep gate closed at all times.
  • Please remove your pet’s leash while inside the fenced area. It could seriously harm your pet and others (snag/choke/trip hazard) while running and playing.
